Te Kapu is a free weekly community lunch held each Wednesday at 12pm – anyone is welcome to come along.
Te Kapu is a Glen Eden Baptist Church initiative that is jointly staffed and funded by the church and Visionwest.
Lunch is served every Wednesday from Noon – 1pm at 97 Glendale Road, Glen Eden. You can hang around until 2pm though; we’d love to meet you and get to know you better.
Anyone can come to Te Kapu for the free meal – you do not need to book.
Food Donations
You can contribute to Visionwest’s food support service by bringing items directly to Whai Manaaki Kai. Please drop off to 97 Glendale Road, Glen Eden, between 9am and 11am Monday to Friday.
Monetary Donations
Whai Manaaki Kai exists because of the generosity of individuals, businesses, and groups throughout Aotearoa. Because food demand often exceeds the supply of donated food, we welcome monetary gifts. Every dollar given to Whai Manaaki Kai goes directly to the purchase of food.
