Programmes

Whether you want to improve your literacy and numeracy, or whether you want to teach others, Visionwest’s Employment and Education Service can help.

We have qualified trainers who will guide you in your English study and ensure you are well prepared for everyday tasks such as finding a job, shopping or relating to others.

We offer two Literacy and Numeracy Programmes:

The Foundation Literacy and Numeracy Programme

We provide a foundation literacy and numeracy programme to enable individuals to be more successful in gaining employment, completing further studies, and being effective in everyday tasks.

Our English as a Second Language classes (ESOL) are suitable for those new to the English language or for those wanting to improve their chances of finding a job.

NZCALNE (Level 5) Training

We apologise that, due to staff shortages, Visionwest is not currently running the NZCALNE course.

We provide NZQA Level 5 training for The New Zealand Certificate in Literacy & Numeracy Education (NZCALNE) Vocational/Workplace for those who wish to train others in literacy and numeracy.

Early Learning and Care

Quality Early Learning and Care provided for 2 – 5 year olds in a quiet off street location in the heart of Glen Eden.

Eden Cottage Early Learning and Care, offers each child and whānau/family an opportunity to participate in a play based nurturing educational environment that is founded on Christian principles. We believe that strong teamwork between management, educators and parents is imperative to the development of a positive, nurturing, safe and fun curriculum and environment for our children.
